Jesse Gilliam, LAc, MSc
Jesse Gilliam is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and over a decade of clinical experience. He earned his degree from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin in 2010 and is nationally board-certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. A former Vice President of the South Dakota Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association (2014) and a U.S. Air Force veteran (Senior Airman, 1999), Jesse brings a strong sense of service and dedication to his practice. Dan is a miracle worker. I went to Bee Cave Acu last year when a recurring neck/shoulder issue began to spike again, with the aim of forestalling a new round of steroid injections in my spine. Fast forward 8 months and I have been able to avoid that route entirely with periodic visits to release the nerves and muscle tightness. No PT, massage therapy, cupping or even other acupuncture has been as effective. Highly recommend BCA and in particular Dan!

I highly recommend Beacave acupuncture and nutrition. Daniel has been helping me with my neuropathy for probably over a year now. When I first started seeing Daniel, I was in a lot of pain and I now have it under control and he’s also helped me with supplements. Very nice staff.Unfortunately I left in more pain than I came in. I received light acupuncture which took 5 mins to apply and I was then left for 30 mins. It had no effect.I was then given a balm and told that was the extent of the appointment. The balm that was used on me caused left my skin burned & irritated and I was in additional pain for the next 48hrs.So all & all, certainly not worth $230.10/16 - Updating review to reflect customer service outreach and trying to do right which I greatly respect. While my treatment experience wasn’t what I’d hope for the follow up up to try to remedy the situation and make things right goes a long way.

Sheri has been amazing. I moved here from FL about 9 months ago. I have had very positive results with acupuncture on old and new sports injuries. When I moved out here I had some gnarly forearm and bicep tendinitis. With just a few visits the forearm was feeling great and hasn’t come back. The bicep took a few more visits and I could tell Sheri was trying everything and she finally got it. Been pain free for about 5 months now. Within the past week had a herniated disk in my L2 that she is treating and with great results. I highly recommend!

Only regret is not coming sooner. I have been experiencing severe pain in my GI and a chronic headache that was like a hangover that wouldn’t leave for weeks. I came to see Daniel Knight for the first time after going through so many medical tests without results. My medical doctor gave up and left me in severe chronic pain. Daniel was so incredibly dedicated to listening to my medical history. I’ve never felt so heard and seen. He asked all the right questions and never rushed me. Sherri never fails me!Every medical issue I come to her for she always resolves it. I saw her yesterday after being sick for weeks and just not bouncing back, so fatigued, lethargic, dragging myself through each day, falling asleep and taking 2 naps a day. A flight of stairs would wear me out. I was starting to feel like I would never rebound to the point of starting to get concerned about it. I highly recommend Bee Cave Acupuncture! As an acupuncturist myself, it's hard to reach my back to treat myself. Thankfully, I have found a great place to visit when I'm off. Their relaxing environment immediately puts me at ease, and the polite front desk staff always makes me feel welcome. The professional practitioners are top-notch. Hifu reviewFirst I want to start with how awesome it feels to finally see results.I have been dieting and exercising trying to get my neck and abdomen to reflect all the hard work I do and nothing has worked for me.I am not into invasive procedures, more power to those that are, no judgement on my part, it just scares me to think what could go wrong with that kind of treatment, so I am thrilled to have another option.If your issue is stubborn fat in areas that won’t respond to diet and exercise, this treatment really works! I’ve had two sessions on my neck/jawline, and I’ve had friends, family, and long time clients all comment on if I’ve “lost weight”, but the scale is the same, just my jawline/neck looks slimmer! And I have had one treatment on my stomach and I can see more definition in my waist line. It is very frustrating to work as hard as I do in the gym and on my next to perfect diet and still see a layer of “fluff”. I now have hope that my body can reflect my work ethic!!!And as for Audrey, she is a gem to work with. She is very professional and knows what she is doing when it comes to beauty!! Not to mention she is beautiful and her energy is very calm and soothing!

I had been looking for a natural alternative for skin tigntening to look better and feel younger. I am so glad I found Audrey at Bee Cave Acupuncture. She was very patient in answering all my questions and concerns before the treatment, and was awesome during the treatment. I did not experience any side effects or pain after the treatment, and the best part, in the next couple of weeks after my treatment my skin felt firmer and my friends told me I looked great! Highly recommend it!

I went to see Sheri Moody at Bee Cave Acupuncture to address long time peripheral neuropathy in my feet . With her treatments, I have experienced significant improvement with ongoing treatments. This after 2 surgeries and countless medications where there was no improvement. I highly recommend that if you are experiencing neuropathy to see Sheri and the folks at Bee Cave Acupuncture She is very professional, caring and has a great attitude.

I am blown away but how much o have benefited from acupuncture with Sheri Moody! I have never had acupuncture until about a month ago, and was always a little skeptical. I am so pleased with Sheri. She is so thorough and really treats you holistically as your entire person. She is also specialized in treating emotional issues and trauma. I accidently got an urgent meeting and was trying to call the clinic to reschedule the appointment. I called several times but can not get the line through and they did not call back. Later on, when I finished the meeting, I found they charged me the late fee...very disappointing############# Don't know how to reply, but want to update here... I tried to call you several times, but there is no answer. Also, the absence is unexpected and I can not predict it 24hrs ahead. I understand the cancelation policy, but I think there should be some exceptions. The first acupuncture experience is good, I am just very disappointed how you dealt with cancellation because of unexpected event.

I wish I could come here everyday! Sheri has really helped me in my everyday life! I started coming primarily because I was not sleeping at night. I decided to start trying acupuncture this year to address an autoimmune disease and the treatment and staff at Bee Cave Acupuncture have far exceeded my expectations! Amazing group of professionals. Every time I come here I feel like it’s meditation for a full hour.Shiree and Alejandra are incredibly knowledgeable practitioners and cater to each session based on my needs.I highly recommend their supplements-after a month of using them, I feel changes in my body and feel incredibly balanced. They are the best quality and I trust this practice as my go to source for supplements because of the impacts they have had on me.It truly has been foundational for my healing. I cannot imaging not having this practice as a regular resource for wellness.Please give this place a try even if you are new to the practice. Some insurance providers cover the services and that is such an added benefit to keeping the co pay low. Both in acupuncture and massage therapy.

I absolutely LOVE this place. It’s so calming and relaxing, and it helps to have the BEST doctor. Sheri Moody is amazing, knows exactly what she’s doing down to the finest details, has the biggest heart and really cares about her clients. She goes above and beyond, I have left this place with a green tea patch for pain before, a ASHA board and today I left with an acupressure seed in my ear. It’s not about solving the symptoms, it’s about solving the issue. I’ve been going for facial neuralgia and I have seen a HUGE improvement in less than 10 appointments. The complete numbness that was consistent for months in my face is about 80% improved and it wouldn’t have been without acupuncture. I always leave relaxed, but with energy. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Sheri is fantastic. I came in for a few issues like stress, sleep and chronic neck pain. Sheri did needles and gave me herbs. It was unbelievable but after only one session, I felt DRAMATICALLY better on all of those issues. I’ve been to acupuncturists before and she’s definitely the best one I’ve ever seen. The office staff is super friendly and take a personal touch, like they remember details you’ve said, which is unusual for such a polished place such as this. The ambience is super nice to top off the icing on the cake.

This has been my first experience with acupuncture and it has FAR exceeded my expectations. Over the last three years I’ve had ongoing symptoms that my general practitioner has deemed as “normal” so I’ve sought out assistance from allergists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and had a ton of blood work done. No conclusions made.I developed an extreme intolerance to sugar where even the smallest amount caused inflammation and breakouts all over my neck, chest and arms. After 6 visits with Sheri the breakouts have stopped!! My digestion has improved and she also confirmed what I’d suspected after reviewing my blood work, I’m in perimenopause! It’s been such a positive experience and I highly recommend getting care from Sheri. So grateful to have found Bee Cave Acupuncture.
