We offer therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic, sports recovery, and relaxation-focused massage. Every session is customized to your needs — no cookie-cutter pressure or pacing.

02. Do I need to know what type of massage I want before booking?

Not at all! Just tell us what you’re feeling (tight shoulders, fatigue, back pain, stress, etc.) and we’ll take it from there.

03. Can massage help with chronic pain or old injuries?

Yes. Our therapists work closely with our acupuncturists to address pain patterns, tension, and healing from injury. We adapt every technique to match your body’s needs and comfort level.

04. Is massage therapy safe during pregnancy?

Absolutely. We offer prenatal massage throughout all trimesters. Special cushions and techniques are used to ensure safety and deep comfort for both you and baby.

05. How often should I get a massage?

It depends on your goals. Weekly can help with pain or injury, while monthly is great for maintenance and stress relief. We’ll guide you on what’s right for your body and lifestyle.

06.Do your massage therapists coordinate care with the acupuncture team?

Yes! If you’re also receiving acupuncture, we can work together to create a unified healing plan. This collaborative care often speeds up progress, especially for pain, injury, and stress.

Modalities Customized to Your Needs

Orthopedic Massage

Orthopedic Massage addresses acute and chronic conditions with techniques designed to address issues associated with stages of healing and chronic issues that have evolved over time such as frozen should and piriformis syndrome. Conditions indicated for Orthopedic Massage include Pre and post-surgery, Physical Therapy enhancement and support, lymph drainage for compromised lymph system, managing side effects of chemotherapy, back and other joint surgeries, joint replacements and spinal fusion. Orthopedic Massage is also helpful for scoliosis.

Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) facilitates lymph movement where the lymph system has been compromised or it is overwhelmed by healing demands. Indications for MLD are: lymph node removal, early stages post-surgery to reduce swelling, arthritis, and gut issues.

Myofascial Release gently

Myofascial Release gently stretches the layers of skin and fascia that hold and transmit tension across muscle groups. When used as an assessment tool, Myofascial Release can identify tension patterns throughout the body and pinpoint the original cause of disfunction, sometimes in completely different areas of the body in which no symptoms are experienced.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy applies steady pressure to adhesions in the fascia that form an epicenter for regional pain and restriction. Trigger Points are likened to a salt shaker on a stretched table cloth. The location of the salt shaker can be traced from anywhere on the table cloth by following the stretched material.

Deep Massage

Deep Massage works with both structure and energy. Through conscious, engaged connection through 7 Dimensions of Touch, one experiences a deep, lasting therapeutic effect.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage addresses sports related injury and performance optimization. Utilizing orthopedic techniques for injury prevention and recovery as well as NeuroMuscular Release- Nemerov Method for performance optimization and reprograming of compensation patterns, Sports Massage can help speed recovery from injury and optimize performance.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a light touch therapy of about 1 to 5 grams (or the weight of a nickel) that works with the deep rhythms of the body to assess and treat a variety of acute and chronic physical and emotional conditions that cause pain and discomfort. The primary rhythm that CST works with is the CranioSacral rhythm which is generated by the rhythmic movement of cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. Since this fluid protects the brain and nervous system from physical damage and disease, dysfunction in the CranioSacral system can affect the entire body. Treating the CranioSacral system therefore can help the body release disruptive physical and emotional blockages caused by physical and emotional trauma and balance the body’s physiological function. CST is very helpful in treating a wide range of painful and disruption conditions with a central focus on facilitating and guiding your own healing powers versus focusing on a therapist curing your disease.

Mind Body Acupressure

Mind Body Acupressure (MBA) applies light, manual pressure along Traditional Chinese Medicine meridians or energy channels, to balance the flow of healing energy known as Chi. MBA relaxes the nervous system and releases energy blocks that disrupt physiological balance. MBA complements all body work modalities and is particularly helpful in “reprogramming” nervous system patterns that are at the source of chronic conditions.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing (ZB) balances the relationship between muscle and bone, facilitating skeletal alignment and thus opening a deeper sense of relaxation and connection with self.   Bones are among the body’s quickest energy conductors as well as keepers of our somatic legacy. In this sense it is said that bone energy is ancestral energy and thus may facilitate profound healing of inherited conditions.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage (SM) utilizes a variety of manual techniques to relax muscles and keep the body healthy. SM is what people most often associate with getting a massage for relaxation or to work out stiffness in joints and muscles. Getting regular SM can provide significant support for a stressful active life, or for those whose ability to be mobile has been compromised.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage (PM) can be extremely soothing and supportive when the body is undergoing rapid changes, including increasing demands on one’s energy. The body can be sore everywhere as ligaments loosen to accommodate the growing fetus. PM keeps lymph flowing, and helps relax mother and child at a potentially stressful time.

Reiki

According to the International Center for Reiki Training, Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” (https://www.reiki.org/FAQ/WhatIsReiki.html )
