Depending on your current state, most of the times it will require several sessions to undergo the healing process. When you begin acupuncture and/or nutritional and herbal consultations, pain is one of the first symptoms to disappear, even though much of the underlying condition may still remain.

Food is the fuel that energizes your body for work, play and healing. It is the source of vitality and contains all substances necessary for the regulation of all our bodily processes.

We regard the elimination of symptoms as the “easiest” part of a person´s care. If the treatment stops when the pain or discomfort is gone, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid reoccurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

Some people are under the assumption that if they don’t feel any pain, then they are healthy again. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

During the strengthening phase of your care, we may not need to see you as often as we did during the healing phase. Depending on your particular circumstances, maybe once or twice a month for several months will be enough to strengthen your body and minimize the chance of reoccurrence. Furthermore, a healthy diet, herbs and whole food supplements will continue to be key in this phase as well.
