I have a passion for helping you live a physically healthy, emotionally balanced and spiritually poised life.
I moved to Austin in 2003 to attend the University of Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health & Fitness Promotion in 2006. After graduation, I spent four years as a personal trainer and yoga instructor, which pushed me to research Complementary and Alternative Medicine routes.
I knew from a young age that I wanted to help people heal their bodies, and so I started by healing my own. After I discovered acupuncture to balance my energy and hormone levels, I was able to cope with my own stress and depression in a more efficient and less damaging way, so I began using it for everything that was responsible for creating Dys-ease in my multi-dimensional body.
Whether it was the common flu, insomnia, stress, depression, pain—or even an inexplicable fungal infection of the skin contracted from the river—Acupuncture and Chinese herbs were able to successfully heal my problems that years of failed Western medical approaches could not.
After two years of experimenting with my own issues, I decided to pursue this medicine, and enrolled at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX. I graduated in 2016 with over 1,000 hours of clinical internship, and then furthered my training with a certification in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture. I absolutely LOVE witnessing people transform themselves from the inside out with this cosmetic protocol!
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) inspires me to be creative and flexible when approaching my clinical cases, and it gives me great hope that—if given the proper tools—the body will heal itself. I do not refer to myself as a “Healer” because God and Mother Nature are the true healers. Rather, I am a Light-Worker, shining the brightest light so my patients can see a clear pathway to self-healing. I believe there is no stress, anxiety, or bad habit that cannot be conquered with a little devotion and dedication to self-healing, truth-seeking, and breathwork.
Kundalini and Hatha Yoga are my biggest passions next to TCM, Aromatherapy, and Whole Foods Supplementation. I use all the tools in my belt to support each patient and meet them wherever they are in their healing process.
I look forward to creating a health plan customized to your individual needs, and would love to hear from you!
